Hi,

I Googled a bit but did not find anything...

What would be the correct specifications for an OGG audio file used in AppGameKit Classic?
Let me know, thanks!

Jesse

Reason I ask is I get a OGG failed to load error sometimes on HTML5 builds.
Perhaps my OGG's are not in the right format?
Let me know, thanks!

for wav files sounds as 16 bit, 44,100hz Stereo PCM WAV files work well
so maybe try similar settings for your OGG files

My OGG's(music and sound effects) are mono/22050Hz/90kbps.
Is that bad and unsupported?
Let me know, thanks!

Im not sure but I seem to remember I read
somewhere in the help file that only some formats were supported with android I think
I just cant find where it said what to use in the help file. So maybe it was a requirement
but nolonger is. I was hoping to show the passage from the help file

Android had ( or still has ) problems with mono sounds.
Don't know if that also applies to ogg.

I figure with 44kHz Stereo you're good to go.

ogg works in html5 but use more resources and is best supported on android and mobiles.
I use it because iam lazy on all formats.
ogg neads to be decompressed at runtime in html5 also.
And its already slow.
