Hi, I pasted an image on the screen, this one shows on a black background (is darkbasic background standard black?). Then I load an object, but it doesn't show! It does show the image and the black background, but not the object?! I know for certain that it is loaded because when I code:
input "name of the file",filename$ : load object filename$,2
it shows the blue background and the object (NOT pressing enter), but then when I press enter again in shows the black thingy again with the pasted image!

why? How could I solve this?

Default transparent background in DB is straight black. It may have something to do with screen refreshing. Could you post your code?
