Ok, try this but I hove NOT tested it yet. May not work. Allies are suppose to follow the player but lets trick it
to follow waypoints until player is seen. Add this to the very top of your main script your using.

:waypointstate=4:animate=2,waypointrandom

Edit: I tested it and it came with a lot of bugs ( I used BIM V11) Character did follow waypoints, but animations were all screwed up.
The Dark AI main-weapon.fpi would need a rewrite.
