i just figured something out that will mess my program up (at least the way i was planning on doing it)

mousex() and mousey() only return the position of where the mouse is on the SCREEN, not the world...thats bad. i now need a way to check and see if the mouse is over a tile on the matrix...any suggestions?

Have a look on UWDesign's website. Can't remember the adress, sorry, but I'm pretty sure he had an example of it.

Hope I Helped...

It's on uw's site. here is the direct download for the matrix tile selection:
http://www.underwaredesign.com/getfile.php?file=restricted/sourcecodes/Matrix_Vetex_Select.zip

But, if you want more ( there is code for sekecting objects etc ) then go to the actual site: http://underwaredesign.com/products.php and click on Snippets/Code Libs. then select DarkBasic.

Hope I Helped...
