when i try to use:

agk studio errors on the line childs = GetObjectNumMeshes(objid) ... saying that it failed to get mesh data... the image index is out of range,it originally works when the .3ds model gets loaded, objid is a clone of this so wondering if one cannot do it on clones?

ah nm, dont even need to do that, it does indeed retain the mesh info onto the cloned object!
