I noticed that there is , Export, As Android APK, As iOS IPA, As HTML5. But I don't see an export option for Raspberry Pi format.

So my question is, is the IDE for Raspberry Pi for developing for platforms other than Pi, but not Pi?

Hi,

The IDE on Pi is for developing for the Pi only ( I'm guessing why it's free )..

To Export to APK, think you need the Windows / Mac / Linux Version ( eg. App Game Kit Studio ) - which you have to purchase.

Personally, I develop my Pi projects on Windows / Linux ( PC ) and then copy the project to Pi and re-compile.. works fine.

The Win Version allows me to Export to APK also..

Hope this helps..

No, AppGameKit Pi can be used for developing on Pi, I've made an app that runs on a Pi2 and uses the pins.

EDIT: Got a phone call while writing a reply, so hadn't seen the reply above.

I don't export when developing for the Pi, I can either create the source code directly on the Pi, compile and run from the Pi, OR, I can create source on Windows, Linux or mac, then move the source code to Pi, compile and run.
