Hello,

Is there a way to change the mouse pointer to either a different shape (e.g. caret, resize or move)?

I know I could do this by hiding the pointer and using a sprite in its place, but at 30fps the sprite's movement is not fast/fluid enough.

Is there any reason you are constricting the PC framerate to 30 FPS? I'd recommend 60 FPS minimum to better match common monitor refresh rates, or preferably just leave it uncapped and ensure your movements and operations are timer-based to be consistent.

I believe the only way you could achieve this in Tier 1 is the manner you described (hide mouse and add sprite at cursor position).
