Hey guys!

I made a nice looking animated model in anim8or... now i only need to export it and get it in an x file... there is a way with 3ds export, but that file format does not support animation ... Is there anyone who knows a plugin or converter or something that can do the job 4 me???

its impossible to export an animated model made in Anim8or. You can only export a non-animated one in "object mode" as a 3DS file. Press on OBJECT -> Export and save it, then find a converter on google.

well... a .3ds to .x converter comes with DBC... it should be in tools then DBconv
try running that in the same folder you have your 3ds files in.

or type in DB:
3ds2x infile\object.3ds, outfile\object.x

cant export animations in anim8tor doesnt really make much sence...

Ok thnx guys... too bad i can't export it bcause it's such an easy edit for animations... but maybe it's possible in a later version... i'll keep lookin, thnx you all!

You might be able to export the model into something like milkshape and do the animations there then export from milkshape into DB. I think milkshape can export animations.

MS can export. but DB cant use bone animations, you have to do joint (dont ask me how, im just quoting)

I use milkshape to make animated objects.

if I = 1 then I = 1 else I = 0
