Hey everybody,

I'm finally really going to dive into Tier 2 and C++ but I'm having a few difficulties setting it up.

• I've got Visual Studio 2019 installed.
• I've got the files installed via the Studio editor to a working folder.

• I've found the templates folder but when I click a solution the visual studio 2019 says it's invalid. Do they work for 2019?
• Also, where should my program code go. Straight into the working directory with the installed files from the studio editor or in a sub-folder?

I know I am coding AppGameKit for years and come of as a total n00b here...

Following the instructions in the PDF for Tier 2, I copied AGKStudio\Tier 2\apps\template_windows_vs2017_64 to some other directory and opened it in VS2019. I then followed the instructions in the PDF to fix the include paths and the library paths. Attempting to compile resulted in a couple of errors that I fixed by opening up properties for the project (selecting Configuration Properties -> General in the popup) and changing Windows SDK Version to "10.0 (latest installed version)" and Platform Toolset to "Visual Studio 2019 (v142)". Compiling resulted in a binary that runs and displays the frame rate in the top-left corner. Your mileage may vary...
