if your using miximo models these are my export settings

i load the models into blender 2.79 because 2.8 wont import fbx binary files
I also understand blender 2.79 better

i couldnt get the export settings for fbx good enough to work properly so i save as a .blend file from 2.79
and use the default blender 2.8 settings as shown

the dae settings work fine as defaults in both i found

which allowed the attached video to be made

Blenders dope sheet allows for the deleting of the animations and your own to be inserted

and miximo https://www.mixamo.com will repair models that arent setup correctly
