Hey TGC Forums!

We created this puzzle platformer in 48 hours using AppGameKit for the Game Maker's Toolkit game jam. Check out our itch.io page to download and see screen shots: https://khaeven04.itch.io/slime-ball

The theme was "joined together", so you play as a metal ball that can only roll, but gains new abilities as it collects slimes in each level. Green lets you jump, blue lets you glide, purple lets you push, and red lets you create a bouncy red slime block. Collect the powers so you can get to the exit tube. This is PC only, no phone port at the moment.

nice jam game i gave it a run and stopped ~lvl 8 or 9 (i regret it already).

i guess i should have read the rules but assumed GMTK jams were restricted to GMTK-made games.

nice to know they're not and that AppGameKit is represented (make sure to add Made with AGK in the meta).

otherwise, HTML version?

Thanks for checking it out! Yes, Game Maker's Toolkit is a YouTube channel that reviews game design. Any engine is accepted!

I'll make sure to add our game to the meta list. Probably no HTML game coming (not familiar with that) but maybe a phone port at some point!
