I've got this coming out, probably early next year. Written in AppGameKit, of course...

OK, apparently I have to put a screenshot here too:

And tell you a bit about the game:

Its an open world RPG. You move around some big strategic maps, and fight turn base battles on a tactical map. Explore dungeons, do missions...

I also especially wanted to thank AdamBiser for his amazing steam plugin.

And... the only extremely complicated thing I coded in TBotG was "Timely pathfinding on a big map"

You would not believe how many papers I read on this to get to something I was happy with. If anyone needs any help on this, I'll be more than happy to try and help out.

Congrats on the iminent release. Personally I am not fond of difference in quality of the self drawn stuff and the stock art (ui, character images). I think you should have gone with self drawing everything. This way it looks inconsistent.

That is true, and you're not the first to suggest that. I drew nothing myself - all the art was done by a variety of freelancers. That does mean there are a variety of styles in-play.

Next time, I will make more of an effort to control that!

Now live after 6 years of development! (2 full time, 4 with a full time job)

Bugs fixed and it's really quite stable already, and running quite slickly.

Don't know what to do with myself any more...

AGK has been a fantastic development tool!
