Unfortunatly the developer and source code for the ide have disapeared so if you can't change the colours how you need in the options you will have to use one of the alternatives to the original ide.

I use blueide
http://blueide.sf.net/ it doesn't use fancy stuff like the default ide so should use the windows colours. It's also open source so if you know anyone with a copy of visual basic 6 you can get them to change the colours to exactly what you want.
