Hello, does anyone have a copy of this they can upload? I reached out to support but TGC are no longer distributing this or any dbc update.

Here is a version I compressed from my "/Program Files (x86)" folder (using 7z). I removed any media that came with it to reduce the size. You should be able to download the same media with older versions.

This archive also contains dgVoodoo which adds dlls that allow you to run DBC better on modern PCs and gives you a way to enable Anisotropic Filtering and Anti-Aliasing. Just run dgVoodooCpl.exe to configure for your system.

We can't share updates? Luckily these updates are available now on the archive.org for anybody interested.

Wish tgc took their past more seriously. It's a missed opportunity especially with retro computing becoming more and more popular.

Is that an actual directive from Bamber or Vanner? You know I took some care in putting that archive together so it can be used in this day and age and you turfed it!

It seems silly not to be able to share DarkBasic Classic on a DarkBasic Classic forum no? What's the point of this forum then if people who still want to use DBC can't share it?

For my part, I sill enjoy using DBC and with dgVoodoo it works quite well on modern hardware. I've dusted off Axes of Evil and have been coding updates for it to this day (it works great in 1080p), just for fun and the retro feel of it.

i passed the link to TGC and asked if it was ok. you see the results of the response that i received.

so, i didn't turf anything...

meanwhile none of this means you can't contact TGC yourself and make your plea/help them see the light.
