Hi everyone, it's been a while.
I am back working on a game although I have been using AppGameKit on and off in professional CAD projects in my "real job". I have a couple of initial screenshots for my proof of concept below which at this stage has the following:
1 Scene export from Blender to XML
2 Import of simple scenes into the engine
3 Basic camera movement
4 Basic lighting
5 "Pixelated" rendering for that Wing Commander feel

I'm not sure how far I will take this but I'm enjoying making games again

Pixel render looks great. Is that a shader or do you scale up?

Wow those are some fantastic proof of concept screen shots. What kind of game are you trying to make? Space/flight simulator?

Wait a minute, what you mean you're using AppGameKit for professional CAD jobs?
