I was thinking of buying ultimate unwrap 3d aka lithunwrap. But I dont know if it will solve my texture needs. Is lithunwrap worth it? and what are uv maps?

Yeah it costs $30.00. Kind of expensive for a uv map maker but what are uv maps?

Did you not even look at the products site?

Some tips for those who impulsivly buy software,

`look at tutorials, make sure you're able to use the program
`google it
`look for better software, of maybe a combo package before buying
`download a demo
`look at examples

As far as I know a uvmap is basically all the flat 3d surfaces of an object made into a 2d bitmap so you can texture an object more precicely. (having all the facial features on one bitmap)

Here I went through the trouble of going through step one
