Does anyone know of, or could write a good fps tutorial?

Yeah, but its not really that good. It mostly just shows you the code and doesnt tell you what it does.

type out the code into the editor follow the step by step instructions that come with it will give you a good understanding of what the code does how it works ect..

There is a FPS on this site called monster hunt It is in the gamedevelopers part of this site. It is fairly useful but it didnt help me much because it doesnt show you the entire code at the end

the whole point of the tutorial is to teach you how to make an fps game, not goto the last page and just cut n paste the code, then add your own guns.

what do you expect to learn if the game code is there for you, if someone made a really good fps game then released the code+media, we would suddenly find the same game engine everywhere just with different names

I didnt say I wanted to steal the source code and just add things. All I whant is the entire code in one place so I can see the hole thing and figure out how it works. That tutorial changes the same code every freakin page so I would like to see the complete code at the end without getting confused at all the changes to previous lines.
