I really can't get this, I can get my Saitek X36 USB and Thrustmaster Afterburner USB H.O.T.A.S sticks to straffe using the joystick twist z commands to straffe left and right and I can get it to move forward using the throttle but I still cannot get it to turn left and right I really don't understand this because for flight my sticks work perfectly , I am just tryong to get to grips with this but I am still having a lot of problem's with this.

I am so close to getting everything that I need in Dark Basic, it would be a pity to abandon it as I really want to get my hovertanks to straffe and turn but I can't even get it to turn left and right with an ordinary joystick, I am talking about the Source code tutorial which is the game example that I am trying to modify, should I take the mouse commands out? I have tried putting in the if left turn object left and if right turn object right commands as well as the a wrap value commands but it still doesn't work, what I wish to do is to have dual maose and joystick commands, with a 1st and 3rd person view and you would use the number key's to look around the player's tank and the player.

You would also be able to control the player using mouse and keyboard, a joystick and keyboard, Joystick throttle and keyboard and a joystick, throttle and and rudderand keyboard and get in and out of vehicles as well I think the get in and out of vehicles is pretty straightforward, with the glue object on and off comands but it's this joystick stuff I am interested in. If someone has the same setup as me and can help please do.
