Newcomers DBPro Corner / where is the best place to start

hi guys ive got darkbasic classic and pro and was wondering if i should learn dark basic classic first or just jump straight into pro

I started with DB Classic, then went to Pro. I think it's worth the extra few quid to go straight to DB Pro. The principles are exactly the same, just more functionality.

Since you have both, why not write something small (try 2d?) and make some technical demos with classsic (blocks moving around and jumping on other blocks), then once you grasp how darkbasic *feels*... to put it artistically, blow us all outta the water with a cool 3d game made in pro.
