Im trying to build my first game and I want to try building
a Space Invaders game instead of a Ping Pong game my problem is that I have no idea how to begin building this game
I don't need a code (although a simple code that I can learn from could be helpful) I need a general guideline.
Any one have some guidelines\advices?

BTW
I tried to search before posting this but
I didn't see a thread with general guidelines to space invaders.

I dont know what your asking for exactly but my first game wrote with
the db demo was a sort of space invaders it was 2d but it had a matrix
behind it that changed every time you got a lvl until lvl 8 then it just repeated lvl 8 but the enemy got harder every lvl. in the game
the enemy was timmy from south park who throws wheel chairs at you and you are a sponge bob. so no
space but its the same style like galaga.

Im looking guidelindes like in this thread http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=22030&b=7
Those guidelines are more general + a bit of code with explanation.

new to DB so if you still want to make this game together

You should start by searching for the media(the spaceship,background,sound,etc...).

Then you start coding.

Use the Basic 2D,input,math,basic,bitmap,text,music,sound and screen commands sets.

Is just of those days when you don't wanna wake up everything is *****, everybody sucks you really don't know why, but you wanna justify rippin' someone head off!
