I'm making a level for my game in 3dsmax which has a wire fence in it and some trees. to cut down on polys, i've used an opacity map on a single sided plane and the dbp command set object colourkey. This works fine and i can see the holes in the fence but when i export my model using pandaX, my material is only visible on one side (i.e. you can only see the fence from one side). I have tried a number of things to try to stop this happening:

I've tried selecting the 2-sided option in max's material editor.
I've tried using a double sided material from the mat library.
I've tried using a box, face, shrinkwrap, sphere and plane UVW gizmo.

but all i get is a one sided fence.
