Is anybody aware of any programs that can generate or simulate an explosion animation. The sort of thing you would use when a baddy blows up or anything. I'm not fussed on what format the animations or image frames are in but could really do with a pointer on obtaining them.

Yeah, the first one is ok, just that it's a shame the bitmap size can't be configured. I'll give this one a bash. Listen folks, thanks for the feedback

I thought the:

"[pref]
SCREEN_HEIGHT=512
SCREEN_WIDTH=384"

configuration options changed the image size in the first one?

Exeat, nah, only changed the window size, the bitmap size remained the same. Besides, that second one...... wow!!!
