hehe sorry but you posted in the wrong section and "bloody" isnt a swear word in australia more a "verb" lol or something lol but it doesnt conform to the other countries here.

there is a tutorial in the DBP boxed set that describes the strafing method for a fps.

basically you want to slide the camera left and right given the current angle faced.

the compendium book has a small paragraph about it,

ah ok. im in australia too
i just thought i'd go straight to the forums first, rather than search the book for something that simple. im a very lazy man.

does it have anything about connecting objects to objects asif they were limbs too?

How's this?

As for connecting limbs and glueing objects to a limb, I suggest to be a little less lazy and RTFM!

Umm, this is in the right topic. And what are you babbling about? I gave you the source code for what you want. See that little button that says "source" with a yellow pyramid? Click on it, and voila!

or you could just turn the camera left, move it a bit, turn it right and then do a sync, you don`t see all the intermediate stages if you have the code written to do a manual sync (strongly recommended since DB`s automagical sync is...er....well..not good) something like

do
if leftkey()
turn camera left 90
move camera 0.1
turn camera right 90
endif
<rest of code>
sync
loop

would make the camera strafe left, and it`s easy to follow how it works if you happen to be energisticaly challenged (or you can use a simple sin/cos math routine)
