if I = 1 then I = 1 else I = 0

How about a harder question then? =)

I've heard people, on multiple occasions, say that matrixes are "slow" compared to memblocks and this statement always confuses me. I'm under the impression that a memblock is just a reserved portion of memory, and if you wanted you could easily write pretty much anything into that memory, including a matrix.
Can someone explain what makes a matrix "slow" and what my options are if I wanted something faster? If I write a matrix to a memblock does that make it not slow anymore?

Thanks in advance =)

i think its the way they are drawn or possibly the way db handles them... there isn't a memblock to matrix command but you could write the data to a memblock if you wish. A memblock matrix is actually a mesh/3d object, but you can change it using memblocks. It also allows you to do things such as vertex lighting, which db matrices can't
