For those of us who haven't turned off the pictures in sigs notice that some sigs take 75% of my screen!

Gosh, you know some of us still use 640x480!

I'm using 1024x768 and some sigs are still a bit on the large side.

Big sigs make me angry. They scream "I don't need to be here!".

As a matter of opinion, is my 'sig' too big? While it is not wide, it does result in... oh 5% more scrolling. I tend to treat it as a PSA.

I'm running in 800 x 600 and I'm a bit annoyed that I have to scroll horizontally to see the whole page. Chris Knott, think you can move the second banner of your sig onto the second line? Thanks.

No, your's Preston and Exeat's are a good size, even TCA's gets away with it (for me anyway).

But when you have a sig that would make the advertising boards in Times Square look small and puny, then we have a bit of a problem, Puffy I'm looking in your direction

I think Quoththe Raven has a nice size for a sig. Simple, small and it gets the point through.

Giant sigs don't really bother me, not even puffy's. Beside, isn't there an option to turn sig display off?

Puffs, especially, angers me. I've seen it before, too many times. The art isn't bad but it clashes with everything, it's huge, and it's not even a link to anything...

But Tsunami....ew. Just ick. Bad.

And if you have a sig that big...why do you need text? Man.

I don't really get bothered by them, I use 1152x864 (seems not many people do but I've always used it, it looks weird otherwise ).

Do you bite your thumb at me sir?

i think my signature is a little too big still; but i really like this current one.
not too big widthways but heightwise...

and that is what is being bitched about here guys, as puffy's sig is just ridiculously huge. If it was in any other forum then it wouldn't matter, because most people have ridiculously large signatures oftenly with more than one picture.
but this forum is streamlined so that even the smallest of signatures can appear huge as everything is made very neat;

might be an idea if Rich changed the signatures so that they're a seperate entity loaded rather than part of the actual posts code. would allow us to turn them off and also update them and all of the posts that have our signature are update just like our avatars.
i've often wondered why the forum doesn't have this feature <_<

Yeah, I use that res as well. It's an odd one, usually people skip it when listing resolutions lol.

Is mine too big? At least it has a purpose, and I don't think it is too ugly...

Yeah, I hate scrolling to see the page, at least mine doesn't make you do that. I even saved it as a lower quality jpg so that it wouldn't take so long to load...

Puffy's and TCA's sig were almost the same size I checked them, only 40 pixels difference. Puffy's had spaces around it though.

Pincho.
