Could I use www.blender.org?
(For Room making)

Also, for roommaking, could I use www.3dstate.com's worldbuilder? Or the terrain builder?

Thanks for your help.

Sure you can use Blender, but from what I hear it has a horrible userinterface not suitable for beginners. You could give DeleD a try (excuse the selfpromoting ) because it has been specifically created for level (room) editing in the first place. It's now turned into a full 3D editor.

Use the free 3D modeller DeleD to get skilled in 3d editing! Visit http://www.gamefortress.com/delgine for more info.

Yeah, I didn't quite understand DeleD at first, but I was toying around with GMax and I figured out what I was doing wrong.

What about www.3dstate.com....?

I made my first model!!! In anim8or and Wings3D. I think those two are the best (free) modelers.

here it is... I know... it sucks but it is progress.

http://www.gamefortress.com/delgine is offline because it used too much bandwidth this month due to DeleD's popularity (or so it seems). Go to http://www.granadagames.com to download DeleD instead.

I notice that Jetscape uses heightmaps, is there any way to export one of these heightmaps to a matrix or 3d object?
