Matrix..?? what are they for. Can someone explain them to me or can you give a link to find some information about them.

First of all, forget the movie. It has nothing to do with that. (jk)
Matrices are like terrains. When you create a matrix, you're making a
floor that can be textured and molded. Think of them as grids where
you can raise and lower the points where the lines intersect.

Why do programmers always mix up Christmas and Halloween?
Because DEC 25 = OCT 31

No. But I highly reccommend that you don't use terrains, as they don't work very well at the moment.

ok, so if a want to make a landscape or terrain, where the caracter walk over it, something like morrowin or rpg game, what do you recommend me.

i think a to make a terrain and get the hieght to place the caracter, it's that correct?

If you like, have a look at my world editor "Worldmaker"- for dbpro. It's easy to use and includes an example of an infinite matrix. There's a small help file included. If you have any questions you can click the link on the web page to send an email. I'm hoping that it will be useful to new programmers. It's still new - so it may crash occasionally. It won't hurt anything. It costs nothing. Screenshots and more information on the web page:

i have a problem with the worldmaker, when i try to load a mape in my proyect it doesnt work, or if i try run the demo, it do the same, it doesnt work, but maybe its my computer.

but, like artos says, the texturing and stuff looks decent, its a shame i cant use it.
