Just wanted to thank TGC for the Alienware compo. I'm sure a lot of effort went on behind the scenes, and it's appreciated.

I invite others to post their thanks here, and for moderators to delete any detrimental comments...they can be posted in the already existing threads.

actually I'd like to thank the contestants just as much as the behind the scenes judges..without the coders etc. we wouldn't have had the comp.

also the entrys I am sure will inspire many people to do greater and better pieces of work...

I myself am truely inspired by some of the original and twisted effort I have seen put into the games (twisted in a good way).

Can't wait till the next competition so I can enter..and hopefully do something even half as good.

BTW any one know anything about the next comp??

I wonder what the next TGC Compotition is going to be.

Now that I got 2 modelers I can participate and make a quality game. I did make one but never submitted it becuase it was a pong game with the aliens head.

I like all of the games, they are pretty fun.

I just want to say a massive thanks to everyone who tested my game when I first put it on the forums (especially spooky) - without that input it would never have got anywhere near the top 10.

Thanks for the kind words Chris! I'm glad you got a prize as you put a lot of work into your game and it is surprisingly good considering all the action takes place on a very simple screen.

My game (Abduction) came absolutely nowhere because of a serious lack of time and thinking far too ambitously. I am now going to finish it to show what it should have looked like!

I also have a much better understanding of how to organize my code ready for the next compo and what is required to impress the judges.

Boo!
