DB Generation needs some updates or people will loose interest. Got one planned soon?

Why are you making a new one? The old one's fine.

@deadglory: Sorry man you must have missed my thread...yes I have no PC for now...and don't know when I will get it back, sorry for not posting a notice on DBG but it happened on very short notice...once I'm back I'll get to work on it faster then CMC 101 makes another team request, so thanks for caring.

Matt:
Wow, that was made in HTML. A lot of work. Great that someone makes it in PHP, that will speed up the page in the future.

Megaton:
Yeah, I'm not aroun here much cause there are too much posts and too much crap. I would have to spend all my development time to follow this forum. That's one good part with LLRGT I'll be waiting then. We definatly need a site like this cause it's far easier for everyone to score reviews etc when it's DB/P only.

I'd hate to see the great concept of this site go to waste.

I won't comment on mattman until I see what he can do though.

With PHP you can create dynamic content. You could for example have a login where you can login as an admin and then you can use a form to add new content. Not a big difference from how a forum works, just a bit more complex. I'm planning to do this for my own site but I'm actually doing something similar with an SQL program and that works great too. Another good thing about a login system is that you can access it and make updates and edit stuff from anywhere around the world.

its automated. You enter the article, any screens, etc. for the articles, then it is automaticly entered into a database. Then, it is shown based on the info in the database. Do you get it? The main thing is it is automated

I see DG gets what I mean

eh...sorry for the bump but it's very hard for me to reply when I can't check the thread for 3-4 days in a row...

rpgamer...your rpg tutrorial is already linked in the "Articles" page...

I know..I suck...I was very busy so I was only able to write a small description and a link...

hopefully mattman can write a longer one and improve it...and add that database thing...I hope...

sorry again for bumping..., just wanted to see if I need to answer any questions...ok bye

No problem with bumping. It's hard to keep up with this forum so I use 'View my threads' a lot. So if you post here I will know
