NEW SCREENSHOTS FUTHER DOWN PAGE

Been a while since I updated this post, but work has been continuing on Earth, and In the next few days I'll be releasing version 1.0
I've updated the feature list below:

Feature List:
New Project
Save Project
Open Project
Export .X Model
Exit

Wireframe On/Off
Ghost On/Off
Change Matrix Trim
Change Camera Range

Raise Height
Lower Height
Input Height
Randomize
Flatten
Smooth
Make Hill
Make Dip
Load Texture
Set Texture
Map Height

Select Point
Select None

Points on the matrix can be easily selected, and then actions such as raise/lower height, input height, randomize, smooth, and texture will only be applicable to the selected points. All of the program is with a proper windows GUI

Scroll Down the page a bit to see a demo matrix I made

Yes, save matrix has already implemented, and so has load matrix. I haven't written a function to load the matrix into DB, but this will be very easy to do as it will basically be the same as the load matrix into the editor function.

I have not added blended textures yet. I am looking into having a 'texture brush' feature, which means you can select a brush size ie. 3 squares by 3 squares and then when you select to texture a tile, the texture will blend out into the neighbouring textures. (Hope you can understand ) Kind of like an 'air brush' feature in photoshop/paintshop pro.

demo will probably be released in 1-2 weeks time

Thanks
I've now added shortcut keys and improved the file loading - still working on the texture brush tool
Heres another screenshot I like to show the detail in the textures and the smoothness of the matrix:

Whoops, sorry forgot about that snippet. I know it works in DBC, and there should be no reason for it not to work in pro.
Here it is (not by me):

Thanks for the code snippet ESC_

Do you mean this as a feature you would like to see in my program? I don't quite understand - Do you mean for instance, you could select some of the matrix and then set the gradient to get an even constant slope?

Sorry, not yet - the matrices in the screenshots are textured with some textures I made - although in a later version, texture blending is a feature I plan to include.
Sorry about that
Just adding the finishing touches now, and I might upload it tommorow

Right, it is all finished and zipped up, but i can't upload it - the zip is 5.5MB, but geocities only allows a max of 5MB at a time...
I'll try and cut down the file size tonight, so it might be uplaoded tommorow.

win zip 9 or up (?) allows you to zip up a file and then to break it up into smaller files and put them back together afterwords

When I was little I knew I'd blow up and sell a mill or grow up to be a tilla go nuts and be a killa

use www.dbspot.com, it might take a while for jimmy to set up your account though...
alternatively split the file up, i'll download both bits and uplaod it onto my site as a single file

In the beginning, the universe was created...
This made alot of people very angry and it has been widely regarded as a bad idea...
