okay, i'm making a game which is controled with the keyboard. now, I tried inkey$ and the other thing, but i'm just wondering how can i make it keyboard control like the arrow keys.... like if you hit W and D you'll go diagonal.

look up Keystate() function and use this for the scancodes...

thanks. but it still is not working. If i hit w to go forwards, and then hit d at the same time to go diagonal, it i keep going forward

It must be your code (which you haven't provided BTW).
