Where did this pop out of?
All of a sudden, DBS is selling something called infinity textures... what is it? Where did it come from? ie- is it a DBS program, or are they just selling it? And howcome we didn't know about it? Must have been a DBDN thing...
Anyway, it looks great!

looks great!

alas im a photoshop kid from 2.5 so i have oldskool tools to do seamless stuff. offset filter is my choice

The fact that it can animated textures is cool.
Id use painter 5 for that technique but this program is way less expensive than those two packages put together.

I saw 2 free versions of texture makers but they lack so many features to be a complete package compared to what this looks like.

Cheers Dave! - I'd applaud you if I could.

Infinity looks great, but it's too expensive for my wallet . Hmmm, wonder if I could download the demo on my 56k before xmas.

Infinity textures is brilliant, quite a steep learning curve but I've been using it for months.

Looks great, but it's a bit expensive. My games dev budget has been used up on DBPro for now.

If it's nothing to do with DB then why are they selling it? Are DBS turning into a software shop?

Van: I love VANSeam, I use it all the time It's amazing what can be achieved with such a simple idea.

well I have been looking for a texture only making product for ages, well not extencivly looking but keeping an eye out.., anyway I don't really mind that it is not DBS's (if it isn't) good textures are hard to get and paying for something like this seems quite amicable, it looks pretty descent from the pics they give on it, I'll go check out the demo and if it survives the challenge of having a total newb to textures working on it and it still manages to produce excellent work, I will buy it..

Now they need to get a good animation exporter around here that can execpt various 3D models and let us animate them and export the files ready for using in DBP.. it'l be a good day when that is available here, and will enable lots more people to be self sufficient at the same time..

I use Anim8or for modelling and I like it for this so don't require another modelling piece of software, 1 problem with it is that animations don't export for DB/DBP though, so I would still "pay" for a Quality "Animation only" piece of software allowing the importation of models and exportation of animation files for .3DS,.X, DB/DBP, I would expect the various techniques for animations to be avaiable though.. anyone here up for the job or know of something like this? it's pretty much the only missing piece of my complete solo game makers survival kit, without a 3ds max like budget but still having a small budget, there is nothing around I have found that is good for this particular niche..

I-Tex is a cool, 3rd party texutre creation prog. I bet Version 2.4 has got some new features. I'll see when I've saved enough, maybe I'm gonna buy version 2.4.

I presume they struct a licensing deal with the author just the same as they did with halo.
