I'm just starting out in darkbasic, and I see massive amounts of potential, but i'm stuck, I don't know how to read the polygons or how to tell the program to read them. I've used max for about 6 years and I never paid attention to my poly count. Please help!!!!!!

I think one of your question is, "How do I know the size of an object in 3ds max"? And "How does the units in max convert into DBPro"? Is this what your asking?

Also, once an object is created in max you can export it to an .x file which is the best format for game programming. DBPro loads the xfile and displays it by simply calling the - LOAD OBJECT - command.

To see the polycount i 3ds max, go to editable mesh, and mark all the polys, then in the buttom of the selectionrollout, it says how many polys you have marked.
