You can search the web for various icon editors. Getting them to play nice with DBP is another story.

Replace the icons in C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\plugins\ with the one you want to use and compile the game as normal.

There's also this thread in the bug section:

When in doubt, I use the search features of the forum.

All the newbs should thank the dark and elder gods that I'm not the forum admin. I'd disable everything but the search button and the newcomer thread until I thought they had learned enough to ask sensible questions that research has not helped with. [That includes the team request and general threads.]

Side note: the_winch's solution is interesting. If I only worked on one project at a time, it would be the easiest way.

That sounds right. Of course, make a back copy of those icons just in case.

I have only done it a couple of times and it appeared to work.

To make sure the sizes are correct bakup the icons that are there now and then edit the existing icons and the size/colours should be correct.

I updated my little dbpro dll moveing util to make swaping icons a bit easier.

Just click change and a file selecter will pop up allowing you to select an icon that will be copied to the plugins dir.
Clicking restore copies the original icon to the plugins dir.

icon.ico is the one included in the exe, I don't know what rawicon.ico does.
