I finally bought Milkshape, and was messing around with it today... decided to try and model a car (my first time). I think it turned out pretty good! have a look:

*note: the texture is nowhere near complete on this model... I just basically cut and pasted it on to get an idea of how it would look! With a little touch-up, I think this could be a nice little model!

any comments/suggestions welcome!!!

[edit] I realize the model is a little wasteful on the polygons, esp. the front... I started to figure some things out as I went, and the back half of the model is actually much better than the front

good work for first attempts. you can group each window and using a DDS file to make them semi transparent if you wanted with opaque stickers but it may require you turn culling on to show both sides of the polys.

yeah... or just make it into 2 separate objects... then uncull/ghost the windows alone. the shots are taken straight from milkshape, I haven't even tried loading it into BDPro. have no use for a rally car in my current project

if anyone wants this model you can download a copy of it here:

Lord_Callanardo - feel free to download and use it. I removed the texture because it was downloaded off the net to begin with. however the model is all ready for a texture (UV unwrapped).

I'll probably take it down in a week or so, so if you want it DL it now.
