Whenever trying to load JT Edit model files in JT Edit, the screen goes blank, then JT Edit appears with all its viewports black, then the following error messages are shown (this is for the horsie example)...

Error presenting main surface
Device lost

Error presenting main surface
Device lost

Error setting the current viewport
Invalid call

Runtime error
Program "C:\Program Files\Darkbasic Software\JT Edit\bin\JTEDIT.exe"
Abnormal program termination

The instruction at "0x77f58a67" referenced memory at "0x00000586". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.

(JT Edit then terminates)

VPU Recoverer has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands.

This doesn't happen loading .3ds files. Any ideas?

Do you bite your thumb at me sir?

Hamish,

Please use my online forum to guarantee a response from me.

Is this something that started happening after using it successfully, or did it do this right off the bat? If it was right off the bat, it might be that you don't have a hefty enough video card, and JTEdit didn't die gracefully. Otherwise it might be a problem with a corrupted *.jtv file. See JTEdit's help file User's Guide, Documents and files, and look for the "JTEdit's Instability and Mucked up Workspaces" section.
