Is it free to use, or do you have to pay for it? Or is there are free and a paid version? I looked at the Jasc website and I'm none the wiser.

PaintShop Pro is 70$ and really is great. This is what I'm using for my FPS game. There is a 30-Day Trial demo on the www.jasc.com website.

I trying to be a moderator. I'm nice and cool 24/7.

PSP8 costs about £50. I got it from PC World for £49.99 in a promotion.

PSP5 has been given away free on loads of magazine coverdisks over last couple of years. Probably find PSP6 will start appearing as a freebie soon.

Think I'll stick with what I've got then. I was wondering 'cos a lot of templates come in PSP format.

Personally, I use Corel draw / Photopaint, Serif Photoplus and a number of other smaller programs as and when I need them.

Paint Shop Pro 8 is great... I only have the demo on this computer but it's really good. It takes a bit to get used to after using 7 for so long but it is much better and faster .
