I want to display a .3ds model, I have typed the code, pretty much word for word out of the manual, but it doesn't work, is it my model? can someone show me how you would display and rotate a .3ds model that has been loaded of your hard-disk, not created as a primitive...

its ok, I have learnt (after jumping around a few threads) that .x is better, and all it good now...
