Say, does anybody know if DB can do applets like Java and some other language? I've already made tons of stuff in HTML/javascript mode and would really hate to have to rewrite it all in a new language. But, if I could tie in with extras as DB applets, that would be extremely cool.

Also, can anybody tell if DB can be used for (中文)Chinese? Yes, I know, that's a strange question, but, hey! I've got my reasons. Take a look at http://www.consalsa.net "other products" if you must know. Thanks! ¡Viva la lucha!

No, no applets with DBPro ... start rewriting

Although you can select other character sets for displaying text, I never managed to get them working correctly, although this was almost a year ago now.

things made in db run as a local exe and cannot be served up as an applet in a web browser.

html doesn't make applets, only lets the browser see the java applet.

I had not install Chinese Star yet, but when I do, I'll let you know if it worked.

btw, i thought chinese characters can't be represented using ascii(8bit) and require unicode instead? Correct me if I'm wrong.

cheers!
