Any reason why the code posted in the 2d effects does not work ?

I see it says version 1.0

I've posted the code. All I see is blackscreen when I run it.

Do you have the media it refers to?

Have you tried running it in debug mode and, if so, what is the error message which the debugger provides?

I've just tried it with my own "player.bmp" and "level.bmp" files and it seems to work ok.

I tried as you suggested and still get a black screen

I think I might try install DBPRo again and repatching
