If your making a game, wouldnt it be better if you coded it yourself, rather than let other people do it for you? This will only get you negative replies. You might also watch your spelling, it took me a bit to figure out what it meant ^_^

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...

I thought that too, but with the practice you'll learn.

Honestly, any source code would be useless until you learn the basics of the language. Search the forums and ask again when you have a specific question.

FYI, if you're wondering why Pong is mentioned so much, it is a simple game with simple rules. The act of making a Pong clone teaches you about user input, moving objects in real time, detecting boundries and reacting to them, etc.

From Pong you can move to Breakout and Arkanoid clones. Each one adding more to your knowledge without being an overwhelming challenge while you learn.

that depends on the individual, but it may be easier to spell

Yeah, any programming language has zero tolerance for spelling errors. Getting into the habit of spelling correctly is good. It will make you look better and cut down on trouble shooting errors.

You can slide on using upper and lower case letters for the most part. But, developing a consistent style and using indentation will save you a lot of grief.

check code snippets for my "rts barebone". There should be a working link near the end of the thread. Take a look at that and you can get an idea what's involved.
