That was beautiful, corsair. Sorry if I seemed skeptical in your other post. You might want to consider getting some good artists on a team if you plan to shoot this high. You have my best wishes.

i doubt you have a chance........sorry to sink your battle ship. And DB wont run on linux without a windows emulator, and then i dunno if it works. And you spoke to sony? what just gave them a bell? ah well you go for it if it makes you happy eh?

If Darkbasic did run on linux, the *.exe's it compiled wouldnt.

However, i would hope at some point a version of DB is made from Linux.

Some of us dont like the looks of Microsofts next operating system :p

And if that was the case, all the 3 main consoles could be possible to run the code on.
(with a lot of hacking and tweaking, especialy the Gamecube that seems very hard to crack)

If you manage to get it to work, make sure you tell the rest of the DB community how to do it. We will crowd around you and worship you.

If you really want to use linux, just use one of the BasicGL languages.

Surely the target console should be the X-Box/X-Box2?

DBPro is already being used in test demos for X-Box games.

Now a compiler for DBPro that generated X-Box code... that would be fool proof.

If you mean without a windows/Dx emulator, I would have to say yes.

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...
