I have been brooding over an idea for a game for sometime. I started work on some modelling for it but it went miserably wrong due to what im told is 'z-fighting'. So now im braking out of my shell and asking for help.

I need someone who can model medieval buildings - medium detail. The game itself wont be demanding so im hoping to make up for that with quality visuals.

Its basically a translated computer version of a german card game i have. Its a fun game but i may have to make a few changes to it to make it more strategic, rather than chance. But ill stick to the concept and ill may it different enough so that the makers wont recognise it. Im going to make it without any models, just coloured blocks for buildings just to get some coding done because from my experience nobody replies to these and when they do, nothing becomes of it.

The game itself will feature 3 levels of computer A.I. and a 1v1 multiplayer option (its a 1v1 only game so it should be quite simple to make the multiplayer for it). Im also considering some kin of story mode but to be honest the game uses the same deck and the same layout everytime so level one could be harder than level 4 depending on the luck of the draw so i dont know how this will work. I just love to write so I have to fit story into it somehow . Itll be the selling point of the game (unless your models are upto scratch).

If interested, email me or reply below. When I am sure you are suitable ill send you all the concept art. There are about 50 buildings to model. If you can model medieval soldiers, priests and other characters that would be a bonus but I intend to deal with them as they are needed. Since buildings make the core of the game, i want ot get them going 1st.

uk.geocities.com/maniacimagine check it out. ill soon be formally opening it.

Game Beaver has some excellent medieval building models. Why not hop on over there and check it out. I've asked Britton to write me up an asset management cheat sheet. When he does that, I'll put on one of the admin hats over there.

Buildings arent very hard as they are usually pretty boxy. Its the texture that does the trick.
