how do you save an animation so that you can put it in darkbasic and play it with the command

load object "1111.x", 1
play object 1

and a big shoutout to my aussie friends !! Game On !!!

I am a machine I will never stop until I acomplish my goal, unless I run out of chocolate milk. Damn the hobastookers for exiling me to this remote place this deranged jipper !

Maybe I should be a little bit more specific, using milkshape 3d when you make an animation what do you do next so that you can put it into darkbasic and play it with the command

load object "1111.x", 1
play object 1

Go to the file menu and select export -
from the popup menu select DirectX 8.0 file - it's in the lower section.
Make sure all the boxes are checked and select a frame offset (The higher the number the more "padding" in your animation and the slower it will animate).
Click the arrow button next to the filename textbox and select where you want to save your file. If you want it to have the name you mentioned above - name it "1111"
Push the "OK" button.

Also - make sure you are NOT in animation mode.

Some people use JT export. I couldn't get it to work myself, but this exporter works great for me in exporting boned and mesh deformed animations.

You should also make sure you have the latest version of the exporter from the Milkshape website:
