Hello everyone, I'm new!

I'm under way on programming a text based game called Tozo adventures.
I've started it recently so it should be done after christmas!

(What? I can't edit the post?)
There's not much graphics used in it and you got to read the help file before you play the game.

Also, I'm going to have it to look nice - it's a text game after all.
What do you think I should add to it.
Keep the tital in background.
Use colour text.
Music - Won't have a MIDI keyboard 'till christmas.
(Anything else)

I would also put your name in the credits for helping.

Also, I'm using visual basic to do some things too!
P.S - Does anyone know how to get it to read the name of the file so if it already excists it makes a new one?
(Name the file the value of a string or text)

The string question you ask is very possible, read the help files for the file commands and fiddle around a bit. If u are still having problems with it I'll write you a quick tutorial

Text games can be amazing, but also awful. I hope you can write emotively and think of original but logical puzzles

Look forward to playing

My major project will be Ultra - a 3D RPG only to be done in dark basic pro. I'm so glad I've got it - it made life 10 times easier!

Not sure what you mean in your file question, but to check if a file exists, use the
File Exist(FileName As String)
Command.
