Hi,

Sorry for another Bsp related post but..

I have made myself a bsp map in worldcraft and textured it with a wad file i made in Wally.
The map compiles without a problem and my darkbasic programme loads but the map is not textured
I've made sure that the wad is in my project directory so this is not the problem.
Does any one have any ideas or a similar problem??

Many thanks

try extracting the used texture files into the game dir as well.
this was a problem in previous versions of dbp. Also I'd check that you have

Direct X 9.0b
Latest DBP
Latest DBP IDE
Latest Video Card drivers for your card

You must export those textures from the .wad file to .tga files using wally, then put those .tga files to same folder holding that .bsp map

MSI KT3V, Athlon xp [email protected], Radeon 9000 pro(128mb), 512mb DDR 333mhz, Realtek AC'97, Matrox 40gb and IBM DiscStar 60gb.

you may wanna scan thru the Ultimate BSP Thread in the 3d section (look in the sticky threads) I think at some point in that thread ApexNow points out how to fix texturing problem.

Dead Head, It's been a while since I've dealt with BSP issues but could you email me the BSP and the WAD file? Don't worry about the source code but if you post them, I could just see if it's anything to do with your texturing format. Anyway, contact available from my website, just click on the sig.

Paul.
