Newcomers DBPro Corner / Found my cubes but my triangle wont stick to them

Got my cubes back but now i can't figure out how to stick triangle to the out side of them.

Just trying to see if i can make a look alike space station cube as in elite.
Not trying to make a game like that just learing how to make up my models.

If I use the glue command it does not work the way I am thinking.

Is there a page number in the manauel that might point me off in the right dricetion.
