It is quite good. I went on it a few days after Xmas. Good old 95mph driving with minimal other cars. All for about £2 if I remember rightly. Was new at the time though.

But the major advantage is you don't have to even look at Brummyland if you don't want to Nice.

Heh, only been there once, when my train had to stop for an hour. Walked about a bit with a friend of mine, and we noticed that there was all these skin headed tosspots with Nazi-tastic logos all over themselves yelling at us (about 30 of them). Then we noticed we were standing in the middle of about 30 big black blokes. There was also about 10 police men running at us. Hmmm. I dragged my much too excited friend (she liked that sort of thing for some reason) away as they all jumped on each other. Class. Plus is tramptastic (well it was in 1993 anyhows).

Won't go there again.

Dazzag, I'm sorry you had to see that, but there really isn't a lot of racism in birmingham. It's one of the most diverse multicultural societies in the UK. Oh well, some people are just twats!

Actually I don't live or come from London. Live nearbyish in Reading/ Windsor area. My point is that a vast amount of people live down here. And to be perfectly honest, this really is where civilisation is in this country. Well, when it comes to your career etc. I was actually joking about Northerners. I'm from Wales myself (the north bit), and we hate *all* you English So no single slagging off.

Heh, although yeah, when it came to jobs in IT etc. The rest of Britain pretty much sucked compared to London (eg. number of interviews, wages etc.). Ok, this was a decade ago, but apparently is pretty much the same.

Heh heh. When anyone wins anything in sport (say the Olympics), then they tend to be called British if they are not English (obv. called English if they are from England). If they lose/ disgraced etc. then they tend to be called their respective countries. eg. Welsh, Scottish etc. Unless they are English. Then they are called British.

Thing about the stereotype, for Liverpool, though, is it's true . And I know, because I lived there for seven years too! You don't want to know how many times we were robbed, and we lived in a good area!

Seriously though, people just think brummies are stupid because of the slow accent, and the Birmingham city council's redevelopment schemes hove made it into a beautiful city.

Birminghams not that bad, i heard its been massively redeveloped since i last saw it, though to be honest when i was there i did hear a lot about those racial conflicts, as that dude said further up the thread.
