Hi all. When I try to create an animated sprite using four images in one bitmap the first image is not shown. Any idea why? The code is absolutely simple.
I've tried creating a few different bitmaps, but it always happens.
Thanks.

Personally, when I'm making sprites I use photoshop elements to draw the sprites. I put them onto a transant slide as well. this means I can quickly copy and paste them onto backgrounds without having to rub away any excess colour that I might pick up if you get what I mean? so far I've modified sprites from sonic advance namely Sonic, Knuckles and DR Eggman.

I tried your code and it works just fine for me. what patch are you using, 5.2 here.

RGT may be gone but the best DBP forum is still alive and kicking, check it out.

Hi.
You asked me to verify what patch I was using. How would I find that out? Version # is 1.05.

Where can I find a tutorial on how to make a sprite land on a platform?

I'd post one of my bitmaps for animated sprites except I'm a bit embarrassed by their childish content! I'll keep investigating this problem a while longer.

Thanks,

Mick Berg
