Sorry if this has been asked before, but I cant find it anywhere.. I have made a model using Anim8or and exported it into Accutrans that works great, I have named all the bones and everything, then I save it as (DirectX(ASCII)(*.x) and load it into the 3D gamemaker, when I open the gamemaker the model is there, but it is gray, it has no colour or texture, and it is not standing on the floor the models feet are under the floor... any help please...
Thank you, God bless.

copy the texture files you used on the original model to the models new folder in the game media.

off set the models y dimension in your prefered package to get the feet on the ground

Ok then, first off, I doubt The 3D Gamemaker can actually use animated boned models. Second, Anim8or cannot export animations to .X, so I doubt it can save bones as well. Third, you might want to move the objects textures to the same folder your model is put in.

Cheers,
Preston

Third I know I need to move the objects textures to the same folder!, I already got that from the other guy who posted a reply, What I asked was how do I do this, and infact that I dont use textures I just colour the objects using standard colours.. And what i actualy asked s how do I go about saving the textures file!!..

you most probably cant, its prob not a proper uv wrap but just parameters in say the diffusuion or ambience settings.

www.unwrap3d.com is a uv wrapping tool.
